What 1:1 editing and coaching looks like
Partnership is the name of the game when it comes to the editor-writer relationship. When you work with me, you enter into a high-touch experience that meets you where you are. I dive deep into your vision and map out a timeline that will get you and your manuscript exactly where you want to be.
Each editing partnership includes the following:
A welcome packet + Bookish Edits snail mail
A thorough manuscript evaluation mapping out our time together
One 90-minute kickoff call to dive deep into your vision and give you immediate next steps
Two monthly calls to go over your writing, progress, and hangups
Two monthly edits so that my eyes can be directly in your work regularly
Final manuscript read-through mapping out your path beyond our time together

What to expect from a strategy call
In your strategy call, you’ll tell me what your project is about, where you are in the writing process, and where you’re feeling stuck. I’ll let you know exactly what your manuscript needs and what we would do together to make it happen.
Step One
I’ll write up a summary of our call and list the editing options in more detail and with prices. You are free to continue to ask clarifying questions if what I offered isn’t exactly what you need.
Step Two
When you know what you want, we sign a contract and get to work!
Step Three
Private editing comes in three- and six-month commitments. Payment plans available. If none of the standard options is a good fit, I can craft a custom package that better meets your needs.
